Here is a story that is interesting

This is about a mayor of a town in Japan, people thought he was nuts but it turned out he was right.  the title is[ Mayor's folly was town's salvation]. When the Tsunami hit in Japan his town was spared. the town is Fudai.No homes were swept away, they barely got wet.  It has a huge wall, that people thought was foolish. It said the 51 foot floodgate took 12 years to build and spending more than 30 million. It cost a lot of money but with out it fudai the town would have dissapeared. the floodgate was criticized in the 70's but the gate and and equally high seawall behind the c ommunity's adjacent fishing port protected the towm from the waves that oblitered the other towns on march 11.   the mayor who had the floodgates built is not the mayor any more but the current mayor is very happy for his town and that it was spared.  there was some water that did get through but not much.  People laughed and did not want to spend the money for this but look they are alive and do not have any damage.  So this remind me of Noah and his ark that God told him to build because there was going to be a flood, and how people made fun of him.  Don"t make fun  it may turn out  you are wrong and the next person is right and has an insight that you may not have.
